We are thrilled to showcase the incredible work of Hubert Kang, a talented photographer and director who brings a unique perspective to every project. Hubert's latest endeavor with Destination BC and Zulu Alpha Kilo takes us on a breathtaking journey from British Columbia's coastal rainforest to its rugged desert interior, capturing the beauty of his hometown in a way that only he can.

Hubert has developed a keen eye for diverse perspectives and aesthetics. This project, "Destination BC: Rainforest to Rockies," is a testament to his ability to tell compelling stories through his lens.

Phase One: Landscapes and Cityscapes
The journey began in Vancouver, capturing stunning landscape and cityscape images. This phase focused on portraying the environment as the main character, a departure from Hubert's usual style of featuring people prominently. The results were breathtaking, with images that highlighted the city's tallest buildings catching the first light of day and reflections dancing on the water during blue hour.

Phase Two: Automotive Photography and Videography
The second phase shifted gears into automotive photography and videography. With the car as the focal point, Hubert and his team, including Alterna Films and producer Amy who doubled as a stunt driver, captured the essence of a road trip through BC's scenic highways. This phase involved dynamic shots from both ground and aerial perspectives, creating a thrilling narrative of travel and exploration.

Phase Three: People and Places
The final phase brought all elements together, combining landscapes, cityscapes, rainforests, beaches, mountains, cars, and people. Returning to the coast, Hubert's images captured the full spectrum of BC's natural beauty and vibrant life. The highlight was shutting down parts of the Sea to Sky highway for car shots and climbing Jurassic Ridge, culminating in a memorable wrap photo on top of Jurassic Ridge at Murrin Lake.
